Official Synopsis

A sprawling cinematic achievement that serves as both a sequel and a prequel to the 1972 classic. The film chronicles the early life of a young Vito Corleone (Robert De Niro) in 1920s Sicily and New York, while simultaneously following Michael Corleone (Al Pacino) in the 1950s as he attempts to expand the family business into Las Vegas and Cuba. It is a haunting exploration of the American Dream, family legacy, and the moral erosion that comes with absolute power.
